The Structure of Quakerism in Wales and how to find a meeting.

People interested in Quakerism and in attending a meeting, will normally attend their Local Meeting first. To find the Quaker meeting that is nearest to you, please click on the relevant geographical area below.

Each Local Meeting is a Member of an Area Meeting. In Wales, these are split into 4 areas – North Wales, Mid Wales, South Wales and the Southern Marches.You can find out more about each of the Area Meetings by clicking on the links below. Meeting of Friends in Wales, also known as Quakers in Wales, is the organisation which draws together Quakers who live or worship in Wales. It works with the four associated area meetings in Wales and Southern Marches. It normally comes together three times a year to worship and plan the work. North Wales

There are 10 Quaker meetings across North Wales. Although they all worship separately as local meetings, they also unite under the banner of the North Wales Area Meeting. For more information please visit – https://quakers.wales/northwales/

Mid Wales

There are 5 Quaker meetings across Mid Wales, from Montgomery in the East to Aberystwyth and Dolgellau in the West. Although they all worship separately as local meetings, they also unite under the banner of the Mid Wales Area Meeting. South Wales

There are 13 Quaker meetings across South Wales. Although they all worship separately as local meetings, they unite under the banner of the South Wales Area Meeting. You can visit their website here.

The Southern Marches
